Board of Directors

The Public Management Research Association (PMRA) Board of Directors plays a vital role in shaping the vision and direction of our organization. Comprised of accomplished professionals from diverse backgrounds in public management research and related fields, the Board provides strategic oversight, champions PMRA’s mission, and supports the growth of our scholarly community.

The Board is central to ensuring that PMRA remains a leader in fostering high-quality research, facilitating meaningful collaboration, and promoting innovation in public management. Through quarterly meetings, committee work, and event planning, Board members dedicate their expertise to enhancing our programs and initiatives, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our members and the broader academic community.

The PMRA Board of Directors is a dynamic, collaborative team that includes scholars, practitioners, and thought leaders dedicated to advancing the field of public management. Members are elected by the PMRA membership and serve staggered four-year terms. This governance structure ensures continuity while allowing fresh perspectives to shape the organization’s future.

Board responsibilities include:

Community Engagement: Strengthening connections within the PMRA network and fostering new collaborations.
