More Than Membership

PMRA membership is more than access to conferences and professional resources. It is continued participation in an intellectually rigorous, collaborative, and supportive scholarly community committed to advancing public management research.

For many members, PMRA is not simply a conference community. It is a professional network that supports career development and growth.

Why Members Choose PMRA

Our Journals: JPART and PPMG

PMRA publishes two of the field's leading journals, both through Oxford University Press. These aren't a subscription perk PMRA passes along; PMRA owns and shapes both, and membership includes full access.

JPART, established in 1990, is the field's top-ranked journal in Public Administration by impact factor.

PPMG, launched in 2018, is dedicated to theory development and conceptual work advancing the field.
