The Public Management Research Association Fund provides support for the sustainable management of PMRA in the form of staffing, conferences, awards, and editorial assistance for our two academic journals (Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, and Perspectives on Public Management and Governance).

The PMRA Riccucci-O’Leary Fund is to be used for an annual cash award and plaque for the author(s) of the best article on diversity published in the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory (JPART) or Perspectives on Public Management and Governance (PPMG) each year. The name of the award is the annual PMRA “Riccucci-O’Leary Award for Best Article on Diversity published in JPART or PPMG”. For the purposes of this award, diversity should be defined broadly to include (but not be limited to) race, gender, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, class, disability, culture, and age, as well as ideological diversity and diversity of thought. The criteria for the award are: Originality and innovation, theoretical contribution, quality of empirical work (if any), clarity of writing and presentation, and expected impact. The winner is selected annually by a committee appointed by the PMRA president. The interest generated by the fund each year will be used for the cash award(s) and plaque(s).

The Meier Travel Inclusion Award Fund supports PhD students from underserved populations in the United States to attend and participate in PMRA conferences each year.
